BBQ, Barbecue, Barbeque, Barbie

My name is Terence Lernihan of aVermonter Enterprises. I have been catering pig roasts and barbecue in and around Vermont for all manner of events for over 20 years. I love BBQ, and it's not just my appreciative customers or my own taste buds telling me I've found the secret. It's also evidenced by besting both two time Grand Champion of the Jack Daniels World Championship Invitational, Johnny Trigg  and the only three-time  Grand Champion at the Memphis in May World Championship, Myron Mixon with my ribs! I placed 7th at "Smokin' in the Square", a Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned contest in Pensacola, Florida out of 53 professional teams from across the country.

The success of my Vermont Pig Roast site has led me to develop this site focused on barbecue catering. If you're looking for a caterer specializing in BBQ in Vermont, look no further! Whether you call it "barbeque", "barbecue", "bbq", or "barbie", it all means the same thing: delicious!

My ability to consistently create a tender, flavorful, slow-smoked Texas-style beef brisket has evolved over the years and is currently at a high state of readiness as evidenced by our recent service for the Army Mountain Warfare School when we catered the 30th anniversary celebration of its founding. While the pig may have been the star of our "show", the slow roasted, smoked bbq brisket certainly was a hit, and brought many hungry soldiers back - until it was all gone! I was honored to serve these men and women who serve us so well, but was truly proud when we were packing up and were presented with the Certificate of Appreciation pictured above-right (click it for a larger view) for our efforts.

The brisket wasn't the only thing to run out... the bbq sausage appetizer ALWAYS does!

BBQ ribs and chicken on the grill

In the summer months, I cater pig roasts for weddings, graduations, and other family celebrations, but in the winter, I focus on showcasing my  award-winning barbecue talents by catering, usually to smaller groups.

We also offer authentic Maine Lobster and Seafood Bakes.

Click here for more information on our Lobster and Seafood Bakes.

I can cater a wide assortment of smoked, barbequed, and grilled meats and fish, as well as appetizers, sides, and even desserts. Take a look at the sample offerings and if you'd like something you don't see, ask about it! I work with a number of more traditional caterers that can provide all manner of items outside the scope of my grill work.
